More than 200,000 people per week are getting a compelling pro-life message thanks to a billboard now on display on a major Allentown-area highway
“Every life is a precious gift from God,” the billboard declares. “Choose Life!”
The eye-catching message is along Route 22 near MacArthur Road in Whitehall. The billboard company says this prime location gets more than 200,000 views per week.
The billboard was funded by the Knights of Columbus Councils of the Lehigh Valley. The message was purchased for a four-week run.
Jim DeMatteo of the Saint Thomas More Council 4397 said he asked the company to create the message on reusable vinyl, so it can be taken down, stored, and then displayed again in the future. The Knights hope to place the message on a prominent billboard every year. Anyone who is willing to help fund future billboard purchases is asked to send a check, made out to Cathedral Assembly 3298, c/o John Fitzpatrick, 513 Steeplechase Lane, Allentown, PA 18106.
