John Paul II Center for Special Learning Featured in National Video

The John Paul II Center for Special Learning in Shillington is getting some national attention for helping its students get comfortable with virtual learning after the school was forced to close its doors during the pandemic shutdown.

A video journalist from the Associated Press visited student Molli Gregorzek and her family in Myerstown, and also spoke with teacher Noreen Cosgrove. The resulting video story has run in news outlets across the country.

“Molli originally had some difficulty adapting to remote learning, but now she is flourishing,” said Melissah Jablonski , Director of Advancement at the school. “This is a story of hope and inspiration for all families who have had to adapt to a new way of learning because of the Coronavirus.”

A YouTube version of the news service’s video is available to watch here.
