All Boy Scouts working on the Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII Awards are required to attend the 2024 Catholic Scouting Activity Weekend. It fulfills the requirement to attend a retreat.
The weekend will be Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21 at a new location, St. Joseph, Limeport. It will be hosted by the Allentown Diocese Catholic Committee on Scouting.
This year's theme is “Bread for the Soul,” based on the Eucharistic Revival patches of the National Catholic Committee on Scouting.
Catholic-sponsored units are encouraged to attend as a group with their own leadership. Units may bring Webelos II, with leaders/parents as required by the council guidelines. Catholic Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts from any unit may attend. Girl Scouts are invited to attend during the Saturday program. Individual Scouts will camp with one of the troops attending with adult leaders. Older Scouts, Explorers, Venturers, Sea Scouts, parents, and other adults are also invited to participate with our staff.
