Bishop Schlert Invites the Faithful to "Come Home for Christmas"

Dear friends in Christ,

Christmas is a sacred time to celebrate the birth of Our Savior, and a special time to be with those we love.

As you prepare to spend time with your loved ones, I invite you to also consider spending time with Our Lord, truly Present in the Holy Eucharist.

Just as the Three Kings brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to honor Him at the time of His birth, we too can offer our gifts of worship, adoration, and thanksgiving at Holy Mass this year.

Come home for Christmas and join your family of faith. Your parish eagerly awaits the opportunity to adore Him with you.

I hope that your heart may be filled with joy this Christmas, and that you will join us in singing, “Oh come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.”

May God bless you and grant you a Merry Christmas.

+ Bishop Alfred A. Schlert
