Our Lady's Helpers is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization rooted in Catholic tradition. Its mission is to give pregnant women considering abortion the opportunity to see their babies by ultrasound in its mobile unit, in the hope of helping them to choose life.
"Our mission can be a challenging one, and we believe it is important to gather at least once a year in fellowship to share an evening devoted to the joy of God's plan for life and love," a representative of Our Lady's Helpers said.
Since its founding in 2023, the organization has purchased a van and a new ultrasound machine and recruited a medical team, thanks to the help of Catholic donors and the Knights of Columbus. In honor of the Blessed Mother and mothers everywhere, it launched the mobile unit in October 2025, which is the month of the Holy Rosary and Respect Life Month.
“Our Lady’s Helpers is doing important work in the Church’s mission to protect life from the moment of conception,” Bishop Schlert said. “This fundraiser is a wonderful way for the faithful to support the cause, especially during Pro-Life Month.”
