University Students Attend "SEEK" Conference

Twenty-five students from Lehigh University and Kutztown University gathered for a five-day Catholic conference, known as “SEEK.” The conference is hosted annually by FOCUS Ministries. This year, they welcomed over 20,000 people in St. Louis, Missouri from January 1st-5th. Thousands of students, young adults, adults, priests, and religious all partook in Mass, adoration, worship, and enjoyed talks from renowned Catholic speakers like Fr. Mike Schmitz, Dr. Edward Sri, Emily Wilson, Jeff Cavins, and more.

Fr. Mark Searles, Father Searles, the vocations director of the Diocese of the Allentown, lead our students alongside Rob Johnson, who is the Associate Director of Evangelization for the Diocese. Fr. Searles stated, "At SEEK, it has been a blessing to see the Church on fire with the Holy Spirit. Praying through the Mass and hearing amazing speakers has sparked our students to be a bright light in the world."

The overwhelming sentiment from the conference is that the faith is alive and well in young people across America. We’re proud that our students from Lehigh University and Kutztown University have represented our Diocese so well.

Please pray for these students as they continue to pursue their faith.
