That’s the Jesus Prayer, and Father John R.P. Russell, writing in the Catholic Exchange, recommends it as a frequent companion to help avoid distractions and temptations.
It’s the perfect prayer to use anytime throughout the day, or to use as an aid to developing the habit of constant prayer, he writes, and thus, to become closer to Jesus Christ.
