Golfers and other community members are invited to the annual Diocese of Allentown Golf Tournament on Monday, Oct. 12 at Lehigh Country Club.
“Experience elite sportsmanship framed by breathtaking fairways at this premier PGA Tour Champions destination,” said Co-chairs Eric Wiegand and Father Jason Stokes in a letter to golfers and supporters.
“Now one of the top tournaments in the region, this event has raised over $800,000 in eight years. These funds directly impact local families by funding Catholic school tuition and supporting young men preparing for the Priesthood.”
Wiegand is a Partner of River Wealth Advisors, and Father Stokes is Pastor of Holy Family, Nazareth.
This year, the tournament will begin with registration at 8 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m. with a scramble format.
All golf sponsorships and reservations will include 18 holes of golf with cart, driving range time, breakfast, on-course refreshments, cocktail reception, awards banquet, and prizes.
Golf sponsorship levels range from $20,000 to $6,000; non-golf levels range from $5,000 to $600.
